Kyle Taubken is a narrative film director from Memphis, TN. As an undergraduate Kyle began studying and dissecting the films of Kubrick and Scorsese, then Ozu and Bergman. These, along with other cinematic experiences, would eventually motivate Kyle to make a film himself. Ever since his first short film, Kyle has sought to recreate the emotions and experiences of his own life for potential viewers. Kyle has directed over a dozen short films, co-directed a nationally screened and ADDY-winning book trailer, and created multiple corporate videos. He typically writes, edits, and produces his directorial efforts as well. Whether in his personal filmmaking or professional production endeavors, Kyle brings with him a knowledge of nearly every aspect of filmmaking and video production, ranging from pre-production through post-production.

Kyle is currently working on his first feature screenplay and developing his sixteenth short film, Sleeping Rough.
